About Me

       Hi, My name is Jamie M. Casanova.  I'm the oldest of six in my family, and a first generation college student.  In May of 2016, I graduated with a degree in Mass Communications/Journalism and Sociology, and minored in Psychology and English.   My Journalism degree is an emphasis in Broadcasting: Production.  I've studied editing, photography, videography, and cinematography which are my passions.   I left my home in the Mid-West and moved out to California to pursue my dream of working with a movie production company.  Of course my dream isn't limited to one thing.  I would love to create theatrical trailers, or even edit films!  Even being a photographer or journalist is something I would love to do.   I'm very hardworking, fun, easy going, and nerdy.  Marvel, DC, and Star Wars are just a few of my obsessions.  Superhero movies are the best!  Although, I'm up for getting all kinds of experience in the entertainment/broadcasting industry.  Traveling and exploring new places are other things, I love to do.  Seeing other parts of the world and learning new cultures is the best way to grow and appreciate them.  Volunteering is another thing that I enjoy doing, because it's important to always give back.
